The charity was founded in 1993 by survivor and activist, Jasvinder Sanghera CBE.
We are a diverse group of like-minded individuals with a shared passion for helping people and realising change. Some of our team are survivors themselves and have experienced honour-based abuse, disownment and forced marriage first hand.
Karma Nirvana has a panel of survivors from across the country that helps one another and supports the charity with outreach work. Survivors speak in schools, at conferences and act as mentors to other victims.
We have the continued backing of our Community Champions across the country and supporters from around the world.
Survivor Ambassador Panel
We have a team of survivors who help one another and act as mentors to victims. Our survivors speak out in schools, at conferences and training days.
